Re-registration forms and fees are due October 25th. If you could not attend or did not get a chance to speak to our registrar PLEASE CONTACT Shelly Liou via email shellyhah@yahoo.com or phone (909)468-1052 to make arrangements for re-registration to avoid the $20 late fee. Currently registered adults should complete re-chartering NOW and complete YPT within the next few days.  Beginning in 2012, adults who register but fail to complete YPT will automatically be dropped from our troop by the BSA. 

The annual Fee is $115 for scouts, $100 for brothers and scouts who have a fully trained parent leader in Troop 730, and $0 for adults.  This includes dues, camping and registration fees. To encourage parents to register with the BSA,  there will be no longer be a charge for adult registration. 

 Please return the medical form, troop 730 information form, and BSA registration fee (if you were not registered in 2011 to our registrar ASAP (see above).

Note if you have just joined, in the process of joining, or considering joining Troop730, this deadline does not apply to you. Webelo dens considering bridging to our troop are not affected. This is only for those who were registered in 2011 and wish to re-register in 2012.

Parents/Adults - The national BSA Organization has a new requirement this year! All adults will need to complete Youth Protection Training (course available online) before rechartering. PLEASE, to avoid delays or issues with the rechartering process, please plan 30-60 minutes ASAP and take the youth protection course online. Youth Protection Training is only valid for TWO YEARS from course completion, so we likely have a lot of active parents and adult leaders in the troup whose YPT has lapsed. .

Adults have to be registered to drive, attend certain activities (Summer Camp, overnight outings, etc). Please don't wait until the last minute to take training!

If you are a new adult who is not currently registered for Troop 730 or do not have a member ID, but plan to register for next year, you do not have to be registered with BSA to take YPT online, but you will need this completed before you can complete registration for 2012!

* If Adult is TRAINED (full 3-day Outdoor Leader Skills course, not online) $15 is paid by Troop 730. Please contact Shelly Liou at 909-468-1052 for more information.
